Students @ ICONS

We have student programs at ICONS 2020:

Virtual Student Poster Competition

This is a virtual poster competition! Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for the competition. This year’s poster competition will be virtual, with each student submitting a 3-minute video describing their poster. The student can choose to do a typical “poster” format, or they can choose to present their work in a more unconventional way in the video! We will have a poster “networking” session during the conference dates July 28-30, during which conference attendees can interact in real time with poster presenters.

Submission Deadline: June 26, 2020 AoE

Virtual Doctoral Consortium

For the first time, ICONS 2020 will host a virtual doctoral consortium. PhD students who are currently working on their dissertation research and would like feedback from the ICONS community are eligible to participate. Doctoral consortium participants will provide 8-10 minute videos describing their dissertation work ahead of ICONS 2020. During the virtual meeting, doctoral consortium participants will have the opportunity to interact with conference participants and receive feedback about their research.
